I found Oakland by chance on the internet and boy am I glad I found them, I can’t praise them highly enough particularly Rob who came out to measure up, and Rory who fitted my stairlift, it’s nice to find an honest company that advertise the price you pay without hidden extras, unbelievable value as i contacted other companies before I found Oakland who quoted astronomical prices for the same service and then hounded me for a sale. We were looking for a company to fit a stairlift For my elderly mum who had recently moved in with us. I?d had quotes from three companies before I contacted Oakland stair lifts. Rob listened to our requirements and advised us, he didn't make us feel like it was just a sale , but rather a bespoke service that was tailored for my mum. The service was quick friendly and professional, I can highly recommend oak land stairlifts.

I am the primary carer and live with my disabled mother who suffers terribly with her knees. I had thought that a stairlift would either cost thousands or take possibly years through the council via a grant but found oakland stairlifts online. After seeing it was possible to rent i made the initial enquiry. I was contacted the following day and sent a details form via email which i filled in and returned with all the required measurements and within 3 weeks i think had a reconditioned stairlift installed. From start to finish the whole process was simple, friendly, fast and at a low monthly cost. Thoroughly impressed and will be recommending them to anyone who is in need. Has changed my Mum's daily life and taken away our biggest worry.

Found via internet, seemed to have good reviews and not pushy with sales. Contacted them, he was in the area the following came to see us. Not pushy at all, explained everything so we knew exactly what was what. Week later they came and installed kept to Covid rules throughout. Explained everything when the job was finished. Very happy with everything.

We had a stairlift fitted for my mam. She had spent a month in hospital with Covid, We hadn't been able to visit her so when we were told that she could come home we were delighted. She was still very weak and her release was dependent on getting a stair lift fitted. We phone Oakland and explained the situation. They came out , measured up and the stairlift was fitted in time for my mam to come home.

We needed a stairlift for my elderly parents, did call several companies but Oakland was the only one that wanted to give us a ballpark figure over the phone on the back of some pictures we send them. He was always quick to respond to our calls and queries. Very good pricing and at no time did we feel pressured in a sale. On the day of installation they turned up when they said they would. From start to finish it has been a fabulous experience. Very trustworthy and cannot recommend them highly enough.

This was the only company that I contacted that actually gave me an upfront costings figure. We arranged to have a site visit with regards to the stairlift installation and measurements. From the first viewing of the Oakland Stairlifts website, to the on time, friendly survey offered by Rob Sweeney, concluded by the speedy friendly on time installation of the impressive stairlift by Martin, we have experienced excellent customer focused service. The website offered stairlift options, all priced openly so we could see from the very start what it was going to cost. The survey offered by Rob was friendly and very informative giving us confidence in the company and product and after sales service from the onset. The professional installation provided by Martin together with the simple and friendly explanation of how the stairlift works and what we have to do should we experience any problems in the future with the stairlift gave us confidence in the equipment and the future support available should we need it. A great product and an excellent customer focused service provider gave us great comfort in the purchasing process of a very important piece of equipment that will enable Janet to access upstairs safely. Rob and Martin both answered any questions we asked and explained simply and not in a complicated way how I should use my stairlift taking all the stress from us. Martins kind and friendly installation made getting my stairlift more exciting for me. I will now be able to go upstairs in my home again.

We were looking to fit a stair lift in our house so that my elderly mum could move in with us, unfortunately though, our stairs are very narrow and we couldn’t find a company that could help. He really worked with me to find something that would be comfortable for mum to use and it was installed within a week, we had a lovely safe and reasonably priced stairlift installed by an expert clean and efficient fitter and checked by the company owner Andy. Brilliant service from start to finish. No pressure selling. Made my mum in law very relaxed and reassured. Her stairlift is a reconditioned model, but it looks brand new!
